Everyone has suggestions for new things they would like to see in Sleuth. Well, this is a thread for those ideas. Just post a one or two line synopsis of your concept(s), with a small additional informational blurb if two lines is not enough to capture it. Discussions regarding specific ideas will take place in a separate thread, to keep this one running smoothly. Please do not include complaints, critiques, or other discussion on this thread, for purposes of flow. Anything that is not specifically done for the purpose of outlining an idea will be deleted.

All ideas will be considered; even if no discussion thread for them is immediately started, don't lose heart. Ready, get set, post!

I guess that you see the pirates more rarely when you have Hostage Negotiation... - only during the last couple of weeks I think I have been pirated some 4-5 times with characters who does not have Hostage Negotiation... - so I can confirm to you they DO appear.
Also, the reason of the change that was done to the pirates was not because people with Trap Detection did complain, but people who had neither Hostage Negotiation nor Trap Detection. The change Ben did was not a change to how often the pirates appear, but how often they appear two or three times in a row.
Personally I prefer having some characters with HN and some with TD.

While working with messages on my site, I have come up with an idea for some improvement - that would be best done in the original.

When looking at a certain message (that I have recieved), at the bottom, there are one button to add the sleuth who sent this message to my friend list, and one button to add him/her to my ignore list.
Here I would like added a new button, which will take me to a new list of messages, somewhat similar to my inbox, only, this list will be with messages between me, and this specific sleuth from which I am reading a message.

The two changes to the ordinary mail list would be:
the "From" column will contain the word "in" for messages I have recieved, and "out" for messages that I have sent. (The name is no longer needed as this is a selection of my messages, namely those between me and a selected sleuth)
The "Sent" column will contain both the date and the time the message was sent.

The messages will be ordered by the sent time. - and the width of the columns slightly changed. "Dir(ection)" - previously "From", smaller, "Sent" somewhat wider, and the remaining extra width taken by the message.

Added luxury would be a line above the column headers, telling something like:
"Conversation with Sleuth Admin" (given the sleuth I wanted to look at conversation from was Sleuth Admin)

Pages and checkboxes as in my inbox. (That's a great feature I apreciate, so I don't want to drop that)

I believe this will be greatly apreciated by sleuths around sleuthville.

I'd like to see statistcs on the money Shady took for that day and week in each city.
PLUS a lottery once a week with at least 75% of that money for each city.

It could work the same way lotteries work...

You buy a ticket and pick 7 numbers... Shady draws them once a week.
You could win a percentage of money based on how many right numbers you picked...

Anyhoo, nice work on all the new stuff already, just popped by to check it all out.

More ways to remove a false accusation than one, e.g. Ask the Mayor/Governor if you're Order of Socrates... He is the Mayor/Governor after all! Or other factional ways to delete/ perhaps buy off ( perhaps slightly cheaper than Shady) FAs? The higher the standing the less it costs?

It's not a too bad idea, but every 100 cases are too quickly. Often it takes more than 100 cases to get the contact you want.
