Everyone has suggestions for new things they would like to see in Sleuth. Well, this is a thread for those ideas. Just post a one or two line synopsis of your concept(s), with a small additional informational blurb if two lines is not enough to capture it. Discussions regarding specific ideas will take place in a separate thread, to keep this one running smoothly. Please do not include complaints, critiques, or other discussion on this thread, for purposes of flow. Anything that is not specifically done for the purpose of outlining an idea will be deleted.

All ideas will be considered; even if no discussion thread for them is immediately started, don't lose heart. Ready, get set, post!

How about a DETERMINATION skill. The detective can determine to whom does the piece of evidence belongs to.
It should be like a detective can only use the skill once per day which means that out of 5 or 16 cases per day, the detective can only use the skill in one case to determine one PE. There remains a large probability that the PE you try to determine is not the one pointing at the guilty suspect.

I was going to suggest that a similar thing to the crime lab be applied to townies where we can get a townie to examine our evidence but I think I like Abdur's idea better. It was disappointing to find all of my smart skills only applied to finding the evidence instead of dertermining the evidence like it does in Shades.

How to write this without a spoiler.

When you become Consigliere or Little Sister etc could it also apply to townies? Or maybe a random choice of Townies or Suspects like the randomness between Judge of Character.

I hope I worded that so at least someone can understand me. LOL

Been trawling the boards, as alot of very good ideas have been mentioned before and may now stand a chance :).

This thread was started by Breitkat and has some really really good ideas worth taking a look at.

I would like this to be implemented:
You visit the Priest, Curator, Holy Man, Stage Manager, Imam and a suitable one on Sleuthetania. Each of them is asked for a book, a sacred book or a holy book, or just book. - which you will recieve after having done something special for that person, like doing a favor, or giving an item.
When you have collected all the 6 books, you may go to Shangri La, and visit a specially selected poet there, asking perhaps the same question.
I don't want the questions you need to ask to be difficult to guess.
The Shangri La poet will then give you the option of learning a special skill, that will make it possible to review information about a case that have already been given. I.e. review the intro, the twist (when it's been revealed), and if solving this case will open a favor. (not which favor)
I suggest the skill cost between 15-20 skill points. - and yes, it will be a skill for especially interested, but, as far as I have seen the way this game is built, it should be fairly easy to implement. ;-) So, please?
