I currently have -3 cases remaining for today. I'm confounded.

I seem to remember this happening before. I think it has something to do with traveling to Cairo or Shangrila? A glitch. If you search around the Message Boards you should be able to find some old posts about this.

It happens sometimes when a person has fewer cases than the number they need to travel. The system, for whatever reason, will put you in your destination city, but will leave you with negative (-1, -3, whatever) cases for the rest of the day. It'll clear out tomorrow, but it'll simply subtract then what it SHOULD have taken away today. So, be prepared to have 9 tomorrow.

Least, I think that's how it goes. ;-)

I've had this happen to me several times and it is always going to CAiro, I have not had it happen when travelling to any other city. And then the next day my cases reload to it's normal amount so it is in fact extra cases and they are not taken away from you the following day!
