Tell us why you play Sleuth Noir instead of Shades of Mystery. Or if you play both, which one you like more and why.
Example: Shades doesn't leave enough to the imagination. There's no scripted mysteries.

I wish I didn't post this right before seeing the Sleuth : Shades of Mystery message board. I'm a moron.

For me, I personally like Noir better. I've played both and still am active over there to an extent, but Noir will always be my home :D

I like Shades better. You get to go to the crime scene and actually look for clues. Plus i think you can connect with the characters in the game better. But Noir is pretty cool to.

I like Noir infinitely better, but there's no disputing about tastes. However, there's a part of the Shades that we could possibly "copy" here, and this is the showdown. Maybe we could have it three times a day, and it could be accessed from any bar, including the Sleuthetania. In my opinion, it would add some liveliness to our beloved, but at the moment a little bit stale game. I've never taken part in one, but there are people who play both Noir and the Shades whose experiences and ideas would be most welcome.

Noir has some options that shades hasn't (yet). Like for instance, scripted mysteries. I love to replay scripted mysteries, cuz they are well composed and have an interesting plot.
Also,Noir has a better "view" then shades. In shades,it's one city, divided in three parts. Here in Noir,we have 5 city's (shangri-la isn't a city in my opinion), with all kinds of neat stuff. Like racetrack, pyramids etc.
And as a last point,we have AVH's here in Noir. Ah,do we love them guys? Chasing badguys around the world xD.
So,for me,Noir is best ^-^
