Hi all!
I'm wondering how much cash you actually get when you come across the "twist" in a storyline where you are offered cash to quit a case.
Can anyone tell me, or is this "classified" information.

Getting money for not solving a case? That sounds a bit too good to be true, to me.

I think you have to do it when it is on that screen, too. I had to quit a case where that twist had showed up, and I didn't receive any cash for quitting when I did, but, then again, I wasn't on the twist, so...*shrug*

Thanks to everyone who replied.
Maybe someday I'll give it a go and I'll post here and let everyone know. :)

I think Annika is right. I quit to see what would happen. Something for nothing never works!

Of course, having posted this I haven't run across this twist again, but having recently quit so many cases to get in with the Green Hand, next time I do happen across this twist I'll give it a go.

Don't Don't Don't.
I absolutely confirmed just now that this does not work. I got the twist. I opened my detective page in a new window and checked my balance and then quit the case. Not one red cent was added to my account! There is no extra notation like when you get the train lady twist and she says she was looking for her son/spy named Fox. There is nothing added, nothing gained. No extra info. Maybe this is a setup for a new addition or some such but at the moment it does nothing!!!!
