Is there a way to have a question unlocked after a piece of evidence is connected to a suspect?

For example:

The barber confirms that the hair is Bob's, this unlocks a question for Bob about the hair.

Make sense?

My brain is kinda mushy at the moment.

I can't seem to find a way for evidence to effect something else in the plot.

Thank you!

Um, Anikka, I am confused, because when I preview my mystery and I click on the Barber... the question for analysing evidence is there and I didn't have to create the question. Or do you just mean that is what I have to do for what I want to happen?

Anyway, I think I will play with it and try to figure out how to bend the plot to add what I want.

Thank you!

I have personally experienced this thing when I wrote the mystery, not to be called a mystery anyway.
At first, this auto-questioning did not work but when I started another one, which is incomplete, I saw that auto-questioning worked.
If you want to unlock questions by revealing the owner of the evidence (don't know if owner is the correct word), then try doing what I mentioned in my previous post.

It works? IT WORKS? Yay!

While I'm glad to know it works now, the answer to your original question, Magdalene, remains the same. You must create your barber question instead of using the automatic one, and make it unlock your question to Bob.

There might be another way using a twist, but I can't get it to gel in mind, and what I'm trying to think of might not actually work.

I also agree with Squirrel on this - even if you can use the automatic questioning, it really doesn't add to the storyline and you can make your question and answer much more interesting than the standard.

Okay, thank you! After I finish everything else, I will play through it and see if I like with the automatic evidence questions. If I don't like how it plays, I'll try what you all suggested!

Thanks!
