If you find physical evidence, is it possible that none of them will point to the criminal? I know that some will not point to the criminal, but can all of them be misleading?

No, they will not all be misleading. There will always be one, and only one, PE that will point to the guilty suspect :))

Be careful with taht, that is assuming you have all physical evidence, if you do not have hair and thread analysis you may not find all the available evidence for the case. If you have these 2 skills then what turledove stated above is correct
