How do I save a case?

I think Dogberta has it straight. I don't see why Ben doesn't make it so that we can store a favor, but not open a new one until that favor is done.

If we could store favors, then we could swap 'em too. That would make it too easy. 1 detective could be used to hold the favors that weren't needed right away and all contacts could be used to solve them. As annoying as it can be not to be able to save them, I like it the way it is, even if it does get on my nerves at times, like when all PE's are handwriting! :)

I like jojo227's idea. That way if I start a case but something comes up I can still start a case, but finish it later.

But, see. Then I could just go through my list of suspects and accuse them each one by one. That takes all the fun out of it. So I'd like to save it until I can find someone to help me. I really feel like I just need someone to nudge me in the right direction. I've solved all the other intermediate featured cases. Just not that one. And I've tried multiple times already.
