I have had on numerous occasions where i have hound a clup of lets say curly hair and none of my suspects have curly hair....or theirs a footprint and its for a heavy person and i have 1 person who's heavy and the shoemaker will tell me it is not a match! Why does it do this? Do i have to gain that person as a contact for them to give me the right answers....its very frustrating..

Thanks
Det. Tiff

No. You don't have to have that person as a contact. Some pieces of physical evidence are fake. Infact, only one in each case matches with the guilty person!

It does this to make the case a little harder.

I think of it as if there were many people tromping through the crime scene contaminating it with their evidence, when in fact only one person who was there was actually guilty. The interesting thing is that each guilty person leaves just one piece of physical evidence behind, as jojo said.

and finding evidence depends on ur skills and ur outfit so it could be u wont find that one evidence that points u in the right direction cause u mis the skill or dress badly for the job.
