How to attract more people to Sleuth?

If we could name one simple thing to do in Sleuth Noir, to attract more people to start playing or continue playing Sleuht Noir, what would that be?
I am asking here for things that hopefully would be little effort - much gain. Also, because I guess it would be easier to ask Ben for small-effort things, rather than big-effort things.....
And, I really want us to start growing again. Growing in numbers, growing in happiness and fun. Hopefully making more people feel included in the community.
Where do we put the focus?

@Stormy Day-

Honey,this place used to be booming. There's honestly no way to explain what happened. But I will try.

In my personal opinion: Noir'ers started to get bored with the game because there were no new releases for a while because Hypo started focusing on SOM. So the Noir'ers took a "break". They glommed onto the hope that SOM would be the wave of the future. Hypo put all their marketing and development efforts into SOM. SOM is a different game and it actually takes a really really long time to solve a case. The game is different and you don't have to be too smart to solve a case. Old Noir'ers got frustrated by the crowd SOM drew on top of the fact that they didn't have 12 hours a day to spend on the game. Newbies in SOM are completely happy with just 4 cases a day (unsubbed) because the thought of 30 is incomprehensible.

So basically, all the old Noir'ers left and didn't find their normal obsession with SOM fulfilled and all the new people in SOM go there because that's what has been marketed but don't feel the need to sub or really participate.

Nicnic's analysis is absolutely correct. Despite the praiseworthy efforts of some Sleuthers, I'm afraid there is not much that any of us can do to revive the old interest in Noir until Ben decides what he wants to do with the game: to create some new content, for instance an automated tournament league, and expand the existing one, like Cairo and the Sleuthetania, or let the game die a slow death. I'm sorry if that sounds pessimistic, but that's how I see things. Everything's in Ben's hands now, as it has always been.

I agree with you on most of this Rosa. Especially the part of it being in Bens hands. But I don't want to think the efforts put forth by some of us have been for naught. I try to do what I can to keep interest up and will continue to do so. we have gotten some feedback from Ben taht things will get better, just not as quick as some would like. That's where it can get frustrating.

I guess the one thing I don't want to see is people stop posting ideas and such. I think there have been some good ideas thrown about and of course Ben has the final say in the matter. Eventually one of them would have to be implemeneted. At least I'd hope so! Look how long it took for the Sleuthetania to come to fruition.
