Made ya look!! ;-P

No, seriously, we're looking for pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. Here's what we need:

Reward items:

We're looking for things that can be used as new reward items. If you've got a picture (or can take a picture of) a hat, some kind of coat, shoes, or accessory (anything from jewelry to a pet to a car to whatever), send it.

Apartment items:

We're looking for things that can be used in apartments. Furniture, glassware, silverware, paintings, knick-knacks, tapestries or rugs, appliances, if you've got it on digital film, we wanna see it!

Landscapes:

We're looking for shots of the six cities of Sleuth, the more detailed the better. Remember, Sleuth is based on the time period of the 1920's-1940's, so your pictures need to reflect that, please.

The Rules:

All pictures MUST be sent to the following address:

wishonastaragency@gmail.com

No exceptions. Don't bother sending paper photos, they won't arrive anywhere.

All photos MUST be your personal property, or have your personal permission to use. DO NOT send copyrighted photos. No photos will be returned to their senders. No guarantees are made that any specific photo will be used.

All photos must depict items that are from the Sleuth era (1920's-1940's) or earlier. Do not send pictures depicting items from a later era, please. DO NOT SEND AVATAR PHOTOS. Photos can be submitted by Subbed or Unsubbed people, doesn't matter. We give no guarantees that your pictures will be used, simply that they'll be considered.

So get creative, and get snapping!! ;-D

It's been a while since we've had any input from the community on this, and I thought now might be an appropriate time to bring it up.

One thing that's bugged me for several years now (basically since about six weeks after they did the one and only apartment furniture upgrade, way back when), is that the only 'special' stuff that's available in apartments is for celebrating Halloween. While I have nothing against Halloween (you shoulda seen the get-up we did to our house for Trick-or-Treat Day ;-), I would very much like to see some OTHER stuff for holidays available in the apartments.

Since December and January is chock-full of holidays for just about every culture on earth, I'd like to see what y'all can come up with for this time of year. I'd also like to see what we can come up with for some upcoming holidays (ie--St. Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, etc), so we don't have special days pass by with nothing to celebrate them with (the early bunny gets the valentine, so to speak ;-).

NOTE: Sleuthville is a global community, represented by an amazing mix of people, cultures, and religions. We have 7 hubs that people can travel from, and 5 that they can reside in. I would truly love to see that ALL are represented through the pics, as well as our community.

So. Having said all that, does anybody have ideas about pics that can be taken/submitted for holiday stuff??

Thank you!!

Breit

P.S. -- I know that the argument's been made that the apartments are only available to a very small segment of the Sleuth population, and therefore, this is an unfair waste for the rest of Sleuth. While I recognize the first half of the statement, I'm hoping that there will be pics submitted that can be used for the ENTIRE Sleuth population. Those will just take more work (ie-stats work) and pleading on our part to Admin. Patience. We'll get there. ;-)

If you want to create new items for wearing, you may test out how they will work on my site. I will be working out something so that it will be possible to make it seem like you "wear" the item before christmas.

What you need to do is this: Find the picture, upload it in correct format, tell me, go to my site (I will work out a login thing this week, so that you won't have to give away your password, should Admin accept my suggestion), create the item, and you will be able to see how it looks right away.

Sounds great!! That way people who are password-shy can have a peek, and try out those reindeer antlers too. ;-D

An alternative way to log in are now developed and tested out, and sent to Admin for putting it up.

Just a tip: If you are password shy, which is a good thing first place, go create yourself a new character that you don't care too much about, and make him/her log in to my site, and do the exploring.

- or, you could change your password for the occation of logging in, and when you have logged out again, you change your password back.

The reason why you need to send me a PM is to make me aware of the need of making your picture availiable for item creation.
