Real footy... Aussie Rules ... the footy where you're NOT standin' round with your water bottle for half the game on the sidelines padded up like a bubble boy, is just about over here. :( My team GO ROOS is in the finals but, eh, we're about to get a shellackin'.

Having said that I like 'gridiron' - you kinda know most of the players were the kids in outpatients with the saucepan stuck on their head, and it's comforting to know that God gave them that disposition for a reason :)

lol, thanks for getting us back on topic SS!

I am looking forward to the next show as well. Sept 14, 2008. 4:00 PM EST, jsut like the initial show. This will be a one hour format. Still working on possible co-hosts, but Admin is always free to call in to discuss things. So far I have one new promo that sounds fabulous, I will be playing that near the beginning of the show. I do want some ideas from all of you and as always you are all free to submit content. PM me and I will tell you where to send it. This is something that I want to keep going, the first time was loads of fun!

Bumping :-)

How about a "newbies corner." Put out an ad asking newbies to phone in with questions or comments. Or ask them to PM you with questions or comments about what they like/dislike about sleuth. I think if it were directed to newbies we might learn alot from them.

Just a thought....now, tell me what to do with it

I love that idea Sophie, I'll have to write something up and I'll post it over in the newbie board a little bit later today!

I think it would be very interesting to learn what made people subscribe, because if we learned more about that, we might be able to come up with ideas to how inspire those new people that do pop in to stay and subscribe.

One idea that I had was inspired by red-lips, and that was that newbies would be able to "do a certain mission"... - like when you have gained this much experience, have been able to make a post (hopefully about something constructive) on the board, sent a message to someone, and gained a contact, you would be entitled to a free one-way ticket with the boat... That will give you the option of first seeing the boat for a couple of days, and know that there are things to find and search if you subscribe, and then you will end in Shanghai, which is a different city with different contacts to gain... But, since you unfortunately are unsubscribed, you will need to subscribe if you want to travel back to New York, or anywhere else...

Then, perhaps another "mission" to do, which I don't really know the kind of content in, would give you the allowance to be a member of an active agency for one week. Unfortunately only as a rookie, and you are only allowed to see the content of the case files, not solving or saving any. This is to give people an idea about what it's like to be subscribed, and be allowed to eat of all those delicious fruits of subscription ;-)

What can we do if our pension doesn't pay for a landline phone and you can only scrape up enough money for a cell phone and are stingy with your minutes?

I guess I can go out and try to find me a rich husband. These sexy glasses turn many heads. I might be old but I still got it.

Time for me to waddle off to the old folks home to see if I can scrounge me up a rich fella to buy me a phone.

This click-to-call-feature... ?
Would it be possible to use?
I am asking now without much knowledge, but it seems like a way to do it???
Would anyone who knows better than me give answers?
