someone suggested i make this thread, since ,according to them, i was going off topic. This is for all the "oldies" who remember what it was like for them, when they first started playing. Or new ones, whichever. Whatever your fondest memory is....list it here.

Here is what I remember...of my very first detective...Makensie Brewer....Joining Behind Closed Doors, thanks to the legendary Dr Falcon Maltese...and him showing me the ropes. That was a great time in that agency. I was so full of enthusiasm, and hard work. Wanting to make a name for myself. Wantng to learn everything.

After showing me the ropes, another detective came along..Ms Cevasco. Another dedicated worker, like I was. I havent seen her a long while but she was a dear friend, and i still consider her that to this day. Falco left the agency to her and I....we became the Directors of Behind Closed Doors, and we made a great team. Then she left, and I was the only Directer. I enjoyed it....and it was successful but guess it got too hard running it by myself sooo....I met another detective, who also became a dear friend...R Anstett. He took me in under his wing of the agency he was in, and I never left his side lol Where he went, I went.

Those were the days where everything in this game was alive, and going strong. Everyone was competitive in the hunts, and just so much passion in the community. I also enjoyed helping the new ones joining.

I met alot of wonderful people .....people I will never forget!

So what are your fond memories of back then? The good ol' days :)

I remember when we were waiting for the expansion with Cairo and Shangri-la. Everyone guessing at every clue, trading secrets back and forth just to get the latest info.

I remember feeling like an asshole for breaking Jojo's heart. On the bright side, we would be going through a nasty divorce by now. :)

I remember the first day I walked into Omega, and found an entire ZOO of animals surrounding me. (Swear on a stack, people.) And we're not talkin' bout normal things. Nope. Forget the dogs. Try a lion sprawled in front of me, a black panther lying on top of a bookcase to my right, a red panda asleep in the corner ficus tree and the ever-present tiger tryin' to knock the hat off my head. My boots were toast within SECONDS of my settin' foot in that place. Pun intended. Reese, you still owe me a pair of rattlesnake boots. Your lion plumb shredded 'em off my feet!! ;-D

Life at Omega was certainly never dull.... ;-D

I also remember a certain bright-eyed boy named JRoepel who couldn't WAIT for the AV hunts to open. He did everything short of hang off of the City Hall Clock Tower to get those things opened sooner. Wait.... He DID hang off the Clock Tower!!! :-D :-D :-D

He drove us all batty about those things. "Are they here yet?" "D'you know how great they're gonna be?" "There's gonna be PIRATES!!!!" Huh boy. Don't get the boy started on pirates....

12:00:01 of opening day, we all watch him take off on his first hunt. The man's off like a shot, pirate sword in hand, yellin' like a banshee. (He even spooked the tiger. ;-) Hit the button for Shangri-La....

Pirates.

:-.

This is...appropriate. Sleuth's biggest pirates fan gets pirated. Who'da thunk that one.... Okay, try again there, champ. Hit the button....

Pirates.

O.o

Nah. JR's the lucky one of the bunch. The Sleuthgods wouldn't be that cruel to him, would they?? (Breit's starting to chuckle, in the meantime.) Okay, down to four cases, bud. One more chance. Here we go, slugger, reach for the fences!!

I swear, you could hear the scream clear across the country....

JRoepel, Sleuth's biggest pirate fan, was their very first victim in Sleuthville.

It really is true, ya just can't make this stuff up. ;-D ;-D ;-D
