currently i have some skills points available, which skill is more worthwile to get? would hand writing skill just be another random variable when searching the crime scene? please help~

not that I have pick pocketing or hypnotism but I find hand writing very useful as it helps eliminate more suspects when matching up evidence.

as a general rule though, you might want to get most of your smarts and charming (or tough if you're a tough person) before getting faction skills!

I agree with red lips, I think at your stage hand writing analysis is most useful. It depends on what smart equipment you are wearing but allows you to narrow down who the evidence belongs to, thus saving questions.

Hypnotism depends on what charming equipment you are wearing. It might save you one or two questions when asking for more suspects but overall it is low down on your skill wish list.

Pickpocketing allows you to get the reward even if your client is guilty - I don't think this is a particularly useful skill as you will still be able to earn a fiar amount without it.
