I know this has been discussed on some other thread but I can't find it so I'm posting here. I love playing Sleuth Noir but I find there are not enough cases per day. I don't know if the majority of you out there in Sleuthville think the same but 12 cases is not enough, especially when you lose some to travelling and of course those darn pirates. SOM has 30 cases per day. Is there a reason that players are allowed more cases there than in Noir?

Please Ben, make our day and give us more cases.

Why don't cases just add on? Sure, if you're on vacation or something you'd have a billion, but there could be a maximum, like thirty or something. It doesn't exactly solve the "need more cases" problem, but you can be relieved to know that you're not wasting cases if you miss a day of cases because you were busy.

Speaking of busy, most detectives have made some good points on this thread, like keeping busy with hobbies. I'm still in school, we'll, almost done....... Anyway, I think there have been good ideas and points, and Ben has the final call anyway, so we are somewhat powerless in way.......

I love this last idea...and a limit would probably be good :) Maybe it's just me, and I'm at this point where I have a mini-heart attack when I miss cases...these are our cases anyway, so. It's like, when the Clients have heard so much about your reputation, they're willing to wait a max of three days before giving up and going to another detective...and don't say, please, none of us are worth that! :)

I like the idea of a rolling cut off, not sure how it would effect things like an AVH competition, but that might be beside the point.

hehe old posts come alive again...like real vamps!
My opinion is that Sleuth is an expensive game to play (very expensive in comparison with other games that offer much much more complexity) so the number of cases per day should have been unlimited (at least never less than the brother sleuth game)

Aren't most opinions exactly the opposite there?? But then, you aren't most people :)

I can understand somebody not doing cases for 3 days, and then suddenly taking off on an AVH, and finishing it in a single day (if they're lucky), but this would save cases if you're not able to play for a couple of days. BUT, maybe, on an AVH, you'd have to finish all your "old" cases before beginning...the cases could be marked (ingame, or visible-to-us-like) as yesterday's, today's, etc., and if we don't log in for days on end, it could still save cases, the limit still being 30 (or whatever), by losing old cases to make way for the newer ones, as the disgruntled Clients stalk off, all ""three day wait time; just who does s/he think s/he is??"" But it would mean a lot of work...

Noir players gets:
1) 12 cases per day
2) cases without deadlines
3) travelling around town
4) arch-villian hunt
5) nemesis hunt
6) agency lab
7) apartment
8) equipments
9) scripted mysteries
10) writing scripted mysteries
11) option for reduced FA costs

but Shades players only get:
1) 30 cases per day
2) cases with deadlines
3) no travelling around town
4) no arch-villian hunt
5) no nemesis hunt
6) no agency lab
7) no apartment
8) yes, we have equipments
9) no scripted mysteries
10) no writing scripted mysteries
11) no option for reduced FA costs

so what else do you guys in noir think that you missed out from those of us have in shades? if you guys got bored with noir, then so be it. stop coming over to shades and then returned back to noir and start poisoning Ben with excuses that you guys need such and such that shades players have because Ben had stopped making updates for us in shades and SS had left us as well.

I find this reply extremely unpolite as we are paying customers and we should be treated with minimum respect at least....by the way i feel that the whole response should be erased by a moderator as insulting

@Vampiric Smile:

All I meant was when Noir players in need of more cases, you guys should come up with own good reasons for Ben to do that for y'all and not comparing it with what we have for Shades.

To be polite, Noir players can unlock Almost Impossible case level at 100,000 experience automatically but players of shades only unlock it at 4,000,000 experience and noir players in agencies can do treasure hunt any time while shades players can only do treasure hunts if we have at least 25 standings with townies. Many other little things are not mentioned but I believe long time players who play both noir and shades can tell the difference between both.

So I'm here to ask you guys politely to stop comparing noir with shades, as there's nothing to compare. Both are of different things. We do not have a great community as compared to noir, that's why we focused our mind into solving cases and hoping for updates. We hope y'all can understand that. Thanks a lot.
