Ahoy!

The USS Sleuthetania expansion will be ready at 6pm MDT tomorrow (Saturday 6/14). The ship will stay docked in New York from that time until Sunday night, after which she will set sail on her maiden voyage.

Once aboard, you're committed to staying on the ship for three days of travel time (counting from the time she leaves port). So, make sure to pack an extra pair of socks!

I love this ship and we did not even sail yet. LOL By the way, did anyone find the pool? Oh, yea, where is the casino?

I found a problem with the Scripted Mystery in USS Sleuthetania. It seems that i got to the part where one of the suspects told me "That's impossible", then when i tried to go to the map, the screen just turns white. No matter what i tried to do, nothing works. Kindly help.

I am having a similar problem as zen2071, I can access all the other tabs except the map after a certain point in the Scripted Mystery.

Seems there is a bug in the Scripted Mystery. It's already been reported... let's hope it gets fixed soon! :D

also, the automated sleuth helper does not work with the sleuthetania. when i talk to certain suspects all the evidence and other suspects disappears. now, some might say that this is a program developed by an external player and therefore cannot be taken into account when fixing bugs. for me, however, this is the only way i can get through 12 cases every day with ease. without it the game has become totally unusable. i'm not biting my nails over this bug getting fixed but it would make this a much more enjoyable journey and me a returning customer. ...can i get a refund?

Good ole' pen and paper...and shorthand notes has taken the place of the automated sleuth helper while Im aboard the Ship ;)

Sgt. Troy, Until the programmer can identify the townies... the helpers aren't available for it. You could use a spreadsheet as well to help you out. I been writing it out on paper with a pencil... takes longer, but I'm not worried about getting through all 12 of my cases.

It's not a bug with the helper... it's something new. The FM/SM is a bug... and has been reported, there's another bug... Waitress seems to be a contact for those who have her as a contact in Cairo.

If you really need to use a helper use the Dr. Watson helper and choose substitutes for the townies in your favourite city for the alibi. I use NY townies and when someone says, "Chief Purser," for his/her alibi I use 'Tailor' instead.

Also the bug is in the Automated Sleuth Helper as it can't handle the new alibis, Sleuth Admin had nothing to do with the creation of the Helper, any of it's updates or versions and so therefore cannot introduce bugs to it.

I have contacted the author of the the sleuth helper to see if we can get an update or possibly some direction on what I need to do to update it myself. I don't know much about the programming aspects but I'm gonna try and work with him and Huglover to see if we can get it ironed out. Huglover has already identified what part of the code needs adjusting, now it's a matter of finding a compiler to publish it for us.

Troy, if not having a program to do all the work for you is a deal breaker for the game, why would you expect a refund? The helper is not what you paid for when you signed up for the game to begin with.

Maybe I should go to General Motors and ask for a refund on my car since the price of gasoline is too expensive now and it makes my car no longer usable if I can't affor to fuel it!
