Would it be possible for the case file to include what we find when we use our research skill? I often find myself revisiting city hall, especially if there are suspects with similar names.

I would be so nice for it to be either on the front page with the evidence, or in that person's individual file, near the alibi.

Just an idea.

That would be great!
Now it is a little annoying in the hard levels where you have so many suspects, you have to go back and forth inside the case file page to see who has a real alibi...

Another useful thing (at least for me) would be to have some checkbox which we can manually check if we somehow eliminate a suspect. (For example if all my evidence is slim footprints and curly hair, I can safelly eliminate someone with heavy built and straight hair).

Not nessecarily. Remember the game throws lots of red herrings at you, so although that makes it less likely for that person to be the one, it doesn't eliminate it.

Especially on the Really Hard and up levels, where I usually find that it's very hard to connect the physical eveidence to someone and find myself having to rely as much or more on witness accounts.

Certain combinations of evidence DO allow you to eliminate suspects with 100% certainty. You just have to know what you're doing.

I work mostly with physical, and if I exhaust that I go to witness.
I know that not every aspect of the game is based on logical reasoning, but once you get experience you start to understand how the game is functioning and reason within it.

"I work mostly with physical, and if I exhaust that I go to witness. "

Pretty much my technique too. The way I think of itis this: the physical evidence point the way, and the witnesses help seal the case.

Just wondering how much progress has been made on the revamped case file... It would be really handy if it included:

Townies hints
Researched evidence
and a check box that is automatically checked for a real alibi an can be manually checked when you rule someone out.

I just thought I'd include everyones suggestions in one post...

Great game by the way Mr Sleuth Admin!

I don't know, james lee, these Sleuth folks sure can throw down when it's scrappin' time...maybe we should call some counselors in to mediate! (And maybe someone to tell me what I meant by "throw down when it's scrappin' time." What's up with that?)
