I just had a piece of evidence Not match any suspect in a favor? I didn't think that was a possibility. Or was it just a flaw in that case?

kasg52, you don't mention if you use a leuther helper or pen and paper. I have had times within sleuthhelper where a piece of evidence matches but the helper doesn't recognize it. I tthen looks like there are no guilty people as everything in the helper pane is green. When that happens I shut down the helper and bring it back up and go through everything again.
Also like tk said, are you sure you found all suspects?

I did check for all the suspects and went over all the results I got for for all the possibilities for that evidence several times, just to make sure. I use a differnt Sleuth program than most, but it is very accurate.

Pardon me! This is Kas
(I am using my friend's account and didn't realize I was responding from it.)
I would be curious to hear if anyone else has had an experience like that recently.

I have had the occasional problem with Sleuth Helper, like ctown and a few others have. One needs to be vigilant. Computer based helper programs can't be 100% accurate IMHO, though of course using a pen and paper is prone to UE too ;)
Kas I see you're very experienced, I'm guessing you didn't get this far without knowing how the game works, if you're sure, I would report it.
