But 2 detectives is the maximum you can have in an agency, like Breit says ;)

2 detectives is the maximum you can have in an agency IF the agency participates in treasure hunting.
If you don't participate in treasure hunting you might fill the whole agency with yourself if you want to. The only limitation are the number of agents that can be in the housing you have chosen.
You might even fill 2 or 3 agencies with only yourself if you want to...
- and you can switch them between the agencies as you like... - just be aware that there are a limit of re-joining an agency more than once within 48 hours.
- and since only subscribed sleuths can join an agency, there are limitations to how much money you are willing to use on Sleuth, and perhaps even how many cases you actually manage to handle...

Ummm...unless Ben changed the rules, (which is always possible since we all know just how active I am nowadays) it doesn't matter if you are a hunting agency or not. 2 detectives is the maximum you can have in a single agency.

Looks like we did get a little more clarification. Directly from Admin himself from a February thread on the matter. ((Sorry, didn't grab the id while I was there.))

"For the record, as much as the rule is a pain in my butt, the rule is still in affect (effect?).

No single person should control more than two detectives in an agency if that agency competes in Treasure Hunts." ~Admin

So it looks like Huglover was right - you can control more than two detectives in an agency, provided that agency doesn't do any treasure hunting.
