Lil put up a sign, saying, "This is where we come up with a story and it ought to focus on something other than fellow detectives." on her front window. She had just opened up a pub where all kinds of characters could enter and talk about anything and everything.

Lil and Ying went back out to the customers. Ying got busy making more shots. Lil went up to Makensie and greets her, "Hi, I'm Lilangel. I bet you're wondering why Ctown, my co-director of the agency, has his picture on the wall with his limits. You see, he's not supposed to have whiskey. Ying, here, knows that and has worked for me long enough to know that Ctown gets only beer and only two. You'll see why. I have permitted Ying to give Ctown his whiskey, since I'm here now. I'm only allowing it to show you what happens."

Ying gave Makensie her shots, then handed Ctown his. He downed them really quickly. Lil counted, "1....2...." and before she got to 3, Ctown slumped over the bar, out cold. Lil went over to Ctown and got him off the bar and the stool and put him on the floor, with Ying's help. Lil did the remedy once more. She explained to Makensie, "I was taught this by our dear friend, Bonelady." Just then, the door opened, and Bonelady walked in. "Speaking of which... here she is. Hello, Bonelady," Lil greeted. Bonelady had seen Ctown passed out on the floor. "Hello, Lil," she replied, "Did Ctown have whiskey again?" "Yes, he did. I allowed it to show Makensie what it does to him," Lil answered, then introduced Makensie to Bonelady.

Lil noticed another person in the bar, after she had talked to Ying. Nonetheless, both of them saw why Ctown couldn't have whiskey.

Makensie sat back and watched ctown, and them all at the bar,and poor ctown,passed out on the floor. It was all she could to keep herself from rolling on the floor laughing but, she didnt. She remained her calm self and looked at Reese. Reese, who didnt bother to hide anything at all, was laughing so hard she coud barely stand.

Makensie whispers loudly, "Reese!! Reese!!!" She looks at her, and snaps, "What dammit!" Makensie gets up, and says, "Werent u taught any manners?" Reese took a hit off her cigarette, and takes a drink, smiles, saying "Well, no, Ms High n Mighty, i wasnt" For emphasis, she burps, and looks on ,watching ctown.

Makensie shakes her head, and says to Lil, "Nowwww, I see why he cant drink over two beers, and an have no whiskey. Im very sorry for causing a mess" Lil smiled, and said not to worry, and welcomed her to her bar.

Makensie likes this place, and knows she will be frequenting here alot. She definitely makes note to not let ctown drink more than his limit, but she knows she will never poke fun at him. Reese on the hand....*sigh*

Reese slaps the table with her hand, trying to get in air, from her laughing so hard. She looks at the bartender, "He really cant hold his alcohol very well can he?" The bartender says, "We try to tell him that but he doesnt listen...or atleast HE thinks he can handle it just fine. He wont even remember passing out" Reese says, "He wont? Hmmm, I dont see how he couldnt remember but..if u say so"

Reese walks over to ctown, kneels down, and slaps his face lightly, back and forth, "Hey buddy! Wake up" She starts a laugh, while saying, "Come on! That whisley knocked u right on your ass, boy....literally" Sighing, she stands up straight, and starts to feel bad about all this, which, she never feels bad about anything, so this is something new.

Walking to Lil and the bartender, who were still trying to get ctown to come to, says, "Hey you guys, Im sorry about pressuring him into drinking. I didnt know he did....this", and points at him.

She walks back to the bar, sits down, and says, "Gimme another drink" The bartender says, "This is y9ur third one. You dont do any tricks do ya, after so many?" Reese laughs, lights up another smoke, and says, "No, no tricks. ctown is sure full of them though huh?"

Makensie is at the table watching her every move, and Reese winks at her cousin, and enjoys her drink, waiting to see what happens next with ctown.

There was still no sign of ctown coming around, but they were working on it, it looked like anyway.

She turned to talk to Makensie but, she was no longer in the room. Curious, she walked over to the man she'd been talking to, and says, "Where did Mak go? You offend her or sumthin'?" He chuckled, and says, "No, actually, she had an unexpected trip she had to go on. Dont expect her back in awhile" Wondering why she didnt say bye to her, she shrugged, and took a seat beside him. "The name is Reese Withers, and you are....who?", she asked, as she extended her hand to his. "Just call me, Clive. An old friend of Makensie's" "Funny, never heard of ya, and Ive known Makky my whole life", Reese replied.

The man asked if she would like another drink. Reese half grinned, which was her smile, and says, "No thanks, I buy my own drinks but, we can have one together" He smiled, and said, "Who says I was buying you a drink?" She looked at him, and says, "I said, thats who. Bartender, bring me another 7 and 7, and whatever he is drinking...its on HIM", and points at him, in emphasis. She gave him a look that said he best not argue, so he didnt.

Turning in her chair, she says, in a fun way, "Come on, ctown!! Liven up will ya? Get up, already!"

Bonelady had just started to fill Mackensie in on ctowns antics when all of the sudden a messenger came in and delivered a telegram for Makensie.

Makensie took the telegram and read it to herself, she got a disgusted look on her face and explained to Bonelady and Lil, "You'll have to excuse me, it seems that I have some important business that I need to take care of, I wish I can stay longer but you can trust that I will return shortly."

The three of them exchanged farewells and Mak was gone in a flash.

"Now Lil, you just know you have to fill me in on everything that has happened here," she inquired.

"Oh, you're just gonna love this," Lil started and continued to talk inform Bonelady of all the goings on while Reese and her new found friend discussed other things"

Ctown picked himself up off the floor. He looked around grogilly to see all the lasies in the bar laughing at him. After a few minutes he shook off the cobwebs and Lil approached him.

"Well now, ctown, did we learn a lesson here about trying to be a tough guy?" she chided him.

"What are you talking about? I was just taking a little rest. Can't a guy take a little snooze without be ridiculed?" he defended as his stomach began growling.

"Ok fine, you're the boss," Lil humored him, "Now why don't you sit at the bar and get yourself something to eat?"

"Don't tell me what to do woman! I do what I want, when I want," he continued to defend himself trying to save some face. "Bartender, give me a menu, I'm hungry."

"Perhaps you'd like me to recommend something for you sir," Ying offered.

Ctown snatched the menu out of Yings hand, "You can't even stand up to these ladies, I doubt you know whats good to eat," ctown snapped.

He began to look over the menu. There was something on there that caught his eye, he smirked and looked around the room and then called the bartender over, "Give me an order of these here oysters," he said to Ying.

Lil began to laugh, she couldn't let him do this. "Trust me ctown, you don't wnat these oysters, they aren't what you think they are," she cautioned.

"What have I told you woman? Don't tell me what to do, I said I want these oysters," was the response.

"OK, you asked for it. Ying I'll tell you what, bring him a double order, on the house," she instructed.

After about 10 minutes Ying came back with ctowns order and placed it in front of him. HE dug right into them. They were a bit chewy but rather tasty, he had never tasted anything quite like them. He wolfed down the double order like he hadn't eaten in weeks and promptly ordered yet another. He couldn't figure out what everyone was laughing at, hadn't they ever seen a man eat before? After finishing his third order, he asked to see the chef.

A short stocky man came out of the kitchen to greet him.

"Sir, I just have to tell you this is the greatest meal that I have ever had. I've had 1000's of oysters before but never anything quite this this, although I must admit, I've never had this type. Just what is a Rocky Mountain Oyster anyhow?" ctown asked the chef.

The chef did not want to say it out loud so he leaned over and whispered in ctown's ear. All of the sudden ctown turned several shades of green and stumbled off of his barstool and made a beeline for the restroom.

Makensie walks in fuming. "That stupid villain! I dont know my west from my friggin EAST, and he expects me to play his silly games. THAT is totally REDI....", she stops, looks around, then wonders where everyone is at. The place is totally empty. "Gee, I didnt think I was gone THAT long", she grumbled.

She chuckled, and said, "Geez, what? Do I think people just LIVE in here, and dont ever leave?" The bartender says, "Actually, there is one person who hasnt left" Makensie grins, as she always does, and says, "Who? Ohhhhh! What happened to ctown? Did he ever wake up?" The bartender gave a chuckle, and says, "Oh, he woke up alright. Ofcourse, he acted like it was no big deal, said he was napping but, we all know differently. Anyway, he got rather ill, shall we say" Makensie, with a worried expression, says, "Oh no! He's ok, isn't he?" He says, "Oh yes, I think. He hasnt come out of the bathroom for a long time" Makensie says, "That bad huh?" The bartender laughs, replying, "Three words....Rocky Mountain Oysters" Makensie laughs, and says, "Oh,no need to say anymore. Nasty,nasty! Atleast he is getting the alcohol out of his system"

Makensie did feel bad for ctown, and decided if he ever comes out of the bathroom, she will buy him a cup of coffee. Or a beer. If he wants it, but, somehow, she doubts he will be drinking for a long while. She's been wrong before though. She couldnt stick around long though, because she was chasing a lousy villain so, with that, she says, "Ying, my friend, can you pour me a nice, fresh, cup of coffee w/ extra cream, please?" He smiles, and says, "Well, certainly, Makensie. Would u like some Oysters?" He winks. Grinning, she replies, "Heavens NO!! Coffee will do just fine. I dont want to end up like ctown" They laughed together, as he began pouring her coffee.

Reese walks in, in hopes ctown was there so she could pick on him about his alcohol tolerance. She spotted Makensie at the bar, drinking coffee, so she plopped a seat beside her. "Dont u have work to do, Reese?", Makensie says. "Actually, I dont have my license renewed, woman, you know that. So, I'm free to annoy everyone with my presence." Makensie chuckles, and takes a si[ of her coffee. "Coffee?", Reese asks. "Yes, I quit drinking for a long time. You should try it", Makensie responds.

"No way! Then I would be bored! Mr bartender, I'd like a beer! Just put it on my tab!", Reese says. Ying says, quietly, "Ummm, Ms Withers, you dont have a tab here" She rolls her eyes, saying, "Wellll, can I start one?" He started to say yes, bit Makensie says, "Oh, just let me pay for it. She is an unemployed bum now, she needs helpl" Reese growls at her, and says, "I have more mpney than I know what to do with, THANK you. I just wanted a tab, its easier" Makensie smiles, and looks at Ying, saying, "I have it covered, Ying, and get me another coffee while you're at it"

Reese sighs, and says, "Any sign of ctown? I was hoping he was here" Mak looks at her, saying, "Now, you be nice to ctown, Reese! He cant help the fact that he cant handle alcohol. Not EVERYone is an alkie like YOU" Reese frowns, her temper flaring a bit, "Im no alcoholic, Miss Prude ass. You know better than that!" She laughs in amusement, and says, "Oh stop..I am only teasing you. Have u ever considered anger management?" Reese shakes her head, and says, "Hell to the NO, cousin! I dont need some idiot telling me why Im so angry. Im not angry, you just take me wrong" Mak just chuckles, & grabs a newspaper to read.

Reese, disgusted by Makensie's comments, says to Ying, "Has ctown showed up at all?" He says, "Actually, I dont think he's even made it out of the bathroom yet" Reese says, "Thats odd. i will check it out"
