To accuse or not to accuse...?

In a case I'm doing, I have a suspect who clammed up when I asked for his alibi. A piece of evidence I have points towards him being the murderer. Should I accuse him?

NO NO AND NO!!

*Ahem*

What I meant was, well, some of the suspects with real alibis will have physical evidence pointing towards them too, so unless you have eliminated these, then you might end up with egg on your face.

I would say better safe than sorry, if you falsely accuse a suspect it could end up costing you a lot. There will be plenty of other cases you can solve easily, without guessing.

I agree with topkebab!!!

if some of your other suspects aren't clammed, you can ask them for WE.

remember that 2 x WE (witness evidence) = GUILTY
