Well it never took off over on the AVL site, so Dawg Pound Investigations is proud to announce that we will be holding a tournament. lilangel and myself have been working the past few weeks to get enough teams interested and finally have them together. If all goes well, there will be more tournaments to follow which we will make open to all agencies. Our tournament will begin on Monday, April 14 and will be 4 or 5 rounds. details can be viewed here:

Any questions feel free to PM me. We will also use this thread for any trash talking that the players want to begin with. Let the fun begin! :-D

You touch my heart Ms Helen. I know all too well how it is to accuse the wrong one.....
Since I am a little tender-hearted, and you are all so great with me, and, I also have in my power a program that will help you to not accuse the wrong one, I have decided to give you the option of using my program, under some strict conditions:
1) Don't share it with others. The reason for this is that I am afraid of what will happen if the program is spread without control, as it has some powerful features. - and once done, I think it cannot be reverserd.
2) I do consider the program my artwork, so I don't want you to "work" with the code in order to improve it or change something about how it's working.
3) Also, I take no responsibility of any damage that the program may do to your computer. (There is nothing I have done intending the program to behave evil, or do something to steal information from you)
The offer is to be seen valid for those who I can see have posted on this web-page, i.e. Aunt Pittypat, Ms Helen, miss snopes, KOPPER and topkebab, if you agree to be bound by the conditions, and want the offer.
(It's an offer, not something I demand)
To test if the program might work in your environement at all, I suggest that you go to the dawgpoundinvestigationstoo.googlepages.com - website and download my "TownieSweeper", and see if you are able to get it run on your computer. Please do this first if you are interested in getting my program, because that will sort out the installation related issues.
To get the program you will have to send me a PM with your email-address, and an verification of agreeing to the conditions, so that I will be able to send it to you. The program will run in much of the same way as the TownieSweeper, and the installation is almost identical.
If I am not availiable to instruct on how to use my SleuthCase Assistant, both kasg52 and Ctown28 knows a bit or two about it, and will be able to answer some questions

Venting is absolutely necessary sometimes to keep from imploding!
Thanks Huglover! You're a gem.

Oh I hope Breit doesn't see you venting about 5 quits Aknas, as kher about not just 9 quits, but 9 quits in a ROW.
I try to appease myself with solving and getting repeat clues that at least I'm solving and getting the xp points, but I just don't believe myself, getting the same clue 12 times is just frustrating!

A skill that would enable us to not have the same clue 2 times in a row would therefore be a very valuable skill if we could wrinkle Ben into giving it to us ;-)
- or perhaps that would take away some of the excitement?
Not having the same clue directly after each other would not protect us from having the clues switching between 2 different clues all the time though... ;-)

Ouch... 9 quits in a ROW!.... - makes me think that we might need another charming or tough skill-level.... ;-)
- so that those suspects and townies really cooperate.... :-)
What do you think?
- that it will make the cases too easy to solve?

No one else has breezed through this hunt like I have? No one?? Kidding folks-New York treated me like a diaper. At one point, I found myself crying and rocking back and forth wrapped in toilet paper uttering North of 42nd Street...North of 34th Street...North of 42nd Street...North of 34th Street...and so on.
