Post your favorite quotes from films you love:

I'll start:

"Life is pain, princess, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something!" (The Princess Bride)

"It's not my fault I'm the biggest and the strongest. And I don't even exercise!" (The Princess Bride) Can you tell I love this film?

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die! Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die! Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!" (Ibid)

"Stop saying that!" (Ibid)

"Well I won't say whether I did cheat or whether I didn't cheat, but I will say this: A man who won't cheat for a poke doesn't want one bad enough" (Lonesome Dove)

I just ranked the Princess Bride in my netflix queue last night! I couldn't believe my wife had never seen it (she still doesn't think it's all that great, but then she can get her own d@&#ed netflix account to rate movies in).

John Laroche: Then one morning, I woke up and said, "F**k fish. I renounce fish, I will never set foot in that ocean again." And there hasn't been a time where I have stuck so much as a toe back in that ocean.

Susan Orlean: But why?

John Laroche: (shrug) Done with fish.

From Adaptation. Another movie that causes domestic discord around here.

Jesse:

You have to sit down and watch it with her, maybe she will like it the next time around.

I just watched Lonesome Dove again yesterday and that has got to be the best TV mini series ever made. The book is even better.

Capt. Call to Capt. McCrae on an old Mexican bandit enemy of theirs:

"He's dead."

McCrae: "Dead? How? Did he choke on a pepper?"

LOL. Wow, I haven't watched that in ages... Gotta put that on my Netflix queue.

Under siege by a band of Indians, arrows flying all around them...

Pea Eye: "What kind of Indians are they?"

Gus: "I don't know. They didn't introduce themselves." (Lonesome Dove)

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

If you don't know don't ask :P

Bluto: "Over?, Did you say over? nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor"

Otter: "Germans?"

Boon: "Forget it, he's rolling!"
