Server Time

Maybe it's just me not paying attention again, but when did server time get so far behind. Normally it is anywhere from 2 to 2.5 hrs behind me. I am EST and server is MST. I just looked now and it is 3.5 hrs behind me. Has it been this way since DST and I just completely missed it? Or did this just happen recently?

It jsut didn't change with the DST. I had waited for the turn over which is about 1:30 my time and it turned out to be 2:30 instead. This was after DST change.

Must be me losing my mind again! Now where did I place it this time? I do remember it changing with the original DST the last time around!

I notice that server time lags about 27 minutes behind my computer's clock. When I first started it was about 17 minutes behind I seem to recall. Is the server slowing down?

And DST = daylight saving time? When does that kick in? That's gonna make it even harder for me to calculate!

Hi,

The server time should be right now.

I'll probably have to correct it again in a week or so when the old DLS date would have kicked in.

Stupid Server.

Thanks Ben. Maybe you should kick the server. Reminds me of something I heard a while back:

"A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing"

Maybe we should blame the geovernmental idiots who came up with the "brilliant" idea of changing DST and stop blaming the innocent server. :-)

Topkebab, I don't know where you live, but I'm all for moving there. DST is a "solution" whose time has come and gone... LONG gone.
