Hi :-)
Sometimes when working on a case, I would like to send a note about the case to the next one picking it up. Also, sometimes I would like to leave a case on my character, because the case file is full. It would be wonderful to then go to the case-page, and write some notes there about the case. This could be about who is already checked out of the case, or other information that would be nice to remember.

So, could I get a note-field for my own notes on a case?

That is an interesting idea, huglover - sounds like a detective's notepad. I, like Stooby, use the pen and paper approach if I am saving a case for later. When I was in another agency, I sometimes would PM the person picking it up if there was a good bit of pertinent info to share.

Any good nerd don't know what a pen and paper approach means... ;-)

I don't want to construct paper airplanes, I am trying to figure out how to improve my sleuthing.... ;-)

- but I liked your idea Secret Squirrel, I think I will try to do that ;-)

Hey, are you saying I'm not a good nerd?! ;-)

I use the pen and paper approach all the time when troubleshooting issues at work! Of course it eventaully gets transferred over to the computer! ;-)

And the pen and paper approach is a lot more in character. Any good gumshoe carries around a little notepad.

Write small and neat and your carbon footprint'll probably be better than the extra strain placed on the computer from the other methods.

(small disclaimer... I haven't got a clue what all this carbon footprint stuff is about so don't go to nutty when corecting me!)

I use the good old Naomi Hong's helper (a habit from my first day of Sleuthing) which can be downloaded from the Community Sites in the City Hall. If I want to save my notes for later, I use "print screen" command, paste the helper into a Word document and save it to the desktop. The helper was made only for New York, but I "translated" the townies for each city, so that for instance the tea merchant in London becomes a "butcher" and so on. Of course, these notes can be approached only from my own PC.
