I dont know if anyone noticed but Sony is releasing a new movie called Sleuth, it is actually a remake of the old one, with Jude Law and Michael Caine starring it, i saw the trailer and i think it is going to be an awesome movie and it is somehow very Sleuth related..... ^_^

It's not related to Sleuth noir and I think it'll be very different to the feel of this game. It would be great to see a new true Noir Sleuthing movie released.

Wow Summer I haven't seen you for a while!

Haven't seen any trailers for the movie yet so I can't really say much about the movie. But definitely a noir film would be pretty cool.

Now when I first saw this thread I thought it was gonna be one of those "If they made a movie about this game, who would play you threads"

Anyhow, I'm gonna have to check out this movie when it comes out. IMDB, here I come! ;-)

I'm curious about this movie too, but it seems to have seen only limited releases in certain territories, for some reason.

From what I see, it's not a noir film but a battle of wits between protagonist/antagonist 'thriller'.

The slueth movie is a remake of a movie by the same title, "Sleuth".

It starred Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine. In the new, Caine takes the Olivier role and Jude plays the old Caine role. Should be interesting.
