I am working on an intermediate case and the only evidences i have are a note, some jars, and a hat. My client admits the note comes from her type writer. However, i can't accuse her. Her alibi is some conference. And i cant find where to find evidence on the hat. I don't have research is that why

Joshua, see our responses to your other question about the featured mysteries. Being one day old, it would be hard to be successful in the featured mysteries.

Research is a skill that lets you know that one of your clients with a fake alibi isn't guilty, but it never clears anyone with a tie to physical evidence, at least not in a normal, random case.

Maybe, Joshua you should try to play the easy or normal mysteries first, before the featured ones.
No offense there, man. You should try to get used to the game first.

See if the clients alibi is correct to really make sure that you shouldn't accuse her.
