Friday night we bought some shiny new equipment. Unfortunately, we stupidly forgot about the rent increase going into effect, so we didn't put enough extra cash into the safe at the end of the day.

Saturday, for the first time since starting Sleuth, both of our agency members took the day off, and as a result, this morning our entire agency (rep and equipment included) was toast.

Of course, we had about $10,000 of equipment in our locker and could have easily covered rent with cash, so it was just a incredibly stupid mistake on our parts.

Not complaining about the game system, really; just needed to vent. Take heed, other up-and-coming agencies; don't let the same thing happen to you...

Sorry to hear about that. Your agency description was very well written, I remember. Well, hope you start another agency then. :)

Oh, definitely. And we'll keep a bit more extra scratch in the safe this time... :)

I had also been wondering since agencies were launched. It is, of course, a simple thing to leave some money in the safe, but 2 days grace before eviction does seem to me to be a little too short.

Especially when the timing's bad (like with what happened to us), and two days really only means 25 hours or so...

Oh well; stinky basement, here we come! :D

Hrmmmm... I've been playing for a couple hours now, and just a few seconds ago received an automated PM saying that our agency is one day behind on rent. Very odd...

Yeah, that is weird. Theat message should have been sent yesterday. It seems like yesterday's daily again job got hung up a little. Not sure what that is all about.

Welcome back to business, Lear & Black. I like your agency description as usual, very classy.
