Ernest Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in six words, the following is what he wrote:

For sale: baby shoes, never worn.

This is for people to write impactful or funny or whatever six word stories. (I'm aware that impactful isn't in any dictionary, but it's a perfect word)

Some examples:

Dad called: DNA back: he isn't. by Helen Fielding

"Apple?" "No." "Taste!" "ADAM!" Oh God. by David Lodge

Bob's last message: Bermuda Triangle, Baloney. by Elmore Leonard

Barrister, barista what's the diff, Mom? by Abigail Moorhouse

Please, this is everything. I swear by Orson Scott Card

Shy Jersey kid, overcompensating ever since. by Ariel Kaminer

Failed SAT. Lost scholarship. Invented rocket. by William Shatner
(yes, William Shatner)

Looked for love, wives caught me. (unattributed)

My teenage self would be pleased. (unattributed)
