Hello All-
I am a relative newbie and I have literally spent the last 3 hours trying to read through threads so please forgive me if this has been proposed already. I appreciate all comments.

Also, I hope this is in the right forum....

If/when a detective finds a bloody footprint, you can determine if it's male or female blood using a simple blood test while you are in the field. If you can already determine it came from a heavy or slender person (Advanced Footprint Analysis) , one more test is all you would need to do.

I know this game takes place in the 1920's-1940's, so genetic testing was available--even if it was in it's infancy.

You can make a pregnancy test (or something like it) purchasable with some skill points under the "Smarts" category.

Part II

Another idea I have is to have weapons as a part of the crime scene. In other words, the killer left in a rush/panic and left a bloody knife. You can then lift the bloody fingerprint and, like the handwriting analysis, determine if the person was a righty or a lefty. You would leave a heavier print on a murder weapon with your dominant hand. You can also add ropes and then the sleuth will have to figure out if the killer tried to cover up by making it look like a suicide. This would be a great twist especially in the case of a really neat crime scene (the experienced killer) or if the body was moved.

Since detectives can purchase guns from certain factions, I think, they can be added as murder weapons too because I think sleuths during that time could test for GSR.

I've been thinking about new content for Cairo for a long time. The fact that Ben and Sunny's agency is the only one left in Cairo speaks for itself. It seems such a waste! Everything's already there: the townies, the possibility of having agencies, even an option of breaking into the bank vault.

Maybe, for the start, we could have two different kinds of AV hunts: four-city hunts for the detectives who still can't (or don't want to) to go to Cairo, and five-city hunts for those who can. With a special prize, of course.

Also there could be one-man treasure hunts in Cairo, and the object of these missions could be recovering lost (or kidnapped) pets. This is an old idea, I don't remember whose, but definitely a pet idea of mine :). Think of all the cats, dogs, parrots and even ponies we could save! Personally, I'd prefer treasure hunts for small agencies, but much had been said on the subject in the past and I don't think that's likely to happen.

Whilst I like the idea of new cities, (I think I'd like to see another major European City of the era, since Europe was where it was all happenin') it'd be nice to fully utilize what we have first. So yeah Cairo is underdone and could at least do with opening up Treasure Hunts there and Villain Hunts too (so you might get any 4 of the 5 cities).

That 'ship' Treschaude isn't too far away... I think. (hmm how long IS a piece of string)

um... biggie... did you not mention in another thread that you haven't asked for ponies?

SS... the string is probably as long as a TRAIN of thoughts... which could take forever if the thought process is long enough... *giggles*

I'd like to see Cairo be of more use, it might get us to want to go to Cairo or force us to go when the TH moves there and some in the agency can't move because of lack of exp. or whatnot...

There's a big difference between asking for ponies and being excited about getting a pony. :-)

Anyway, this is what I want... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Duesenberg.jpg

Although, in a clinch, I'll settle for this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:1930_Duesenberg_J.jpg

and I'd like one in the game, too. :-D

Hi all, I have been here for quite some time but never quite active so you can call me a newbie too I guess. Hope you all don't mind the sudden appearance like this without a proper intro.

Anyway, just want to point out something about the suggestion given above. Regarding the bloody footprint, I think the blood comes from the victim so testing that blood will not be of use in identifying the murderer.

Just my two-cents' worth.

You test the footprint though, not the blood.
