boards: add category to posts. bugs, feature requests, pictures of my dog, etc

suspect list: i have trouble associating them, and with a limited number of pictures, when i get new suspects and they are inserted IN the middle of the list it confuses me? make sense? like, add new suspects to the buttom of the list.

bad memory: can we see the motives we've discovered either on the map page or on the case page instead of having to go to the detail page?

photos: could we get more photos in the mix to help suspects feel more different?

asking about somebody: could they clam up before we choose who to ask about just to save the click?

please excuse my ramblings.

oh and boards: change to preview from post button and then allow a "second chance" to edit post before posting.

oh and accusing: maybe setting that link apart more. it always seems to be the first, if it's an option, and it's jsut so damn tempting!

and that's it...

Actually, as long as you're using pop-ups...could you make the casefile screen a pop-up? It would be so much easier to minimize/maximize and occasionally update it than click back and forth.

I use my own "pop up" where I keep my notes because my memory is so bad that I just assumed I needed to find a way to keep track of it myself. I think part of the challenge of the game is to find a way to keep it all straight. Knowing who you need to ask what is really the key to success.

I just use notepad, copy and paste all the suspects, and list things like if they have a bad alibi, no alibi, their build and their hair. Then remove them from the list if they have a good alibi, since I haven't had an instance where someone with a good alibi killed...Yeah, I'm new, yeah, wierd name, I know...

Why not just add an icon next to the body (crime scene) like a note pad that way during your case you can see who you have interviewed there alibi rather its real or fake, motive, who they suspect, ect.. just like the police do when questioning they always have a little tablet handy. just a suggestion.

I use a good old sheet of paper to write notes... I usually make a grid where I write down everything..

In the 1st) column there are, of course, suspects names! 2nd) is for motive(simply if I have it or not)-i.e. if I have a motive for the client, and sometimes if I have info about a charcter from the townpeople and I haven't met him yet. 3rd)is if the suspect is a witness, 4th)is of course alibi, then usually two columns for the clues, and finally one column for each character I ask about other suspects for witnesses. I'll try to make an Excel template file I could use and clean up after each case, it shouldn't be too complicated i guess...

Anyway,I think it's okay if the player has to work a little to remember clues, alibis and such.... each one should find his own method! Personally I don't think adding more info in a pop-up or such would be necessary, making the casefile a pop-up, as Dr. Edwin Keyes suggested, could be pretty useful though.

On Message Boards, can messages be automatically sorted by newest messages first instead of newest messages last? Maybe with a drop-down to sort by oldest messages first if one's looking for that sort of thing sometimes.

I keep losing apartments... when we go to real estate office, can it tell me where it is?
