Well, thanks to my friend FolkTrash, the site has gotten a much needed facelift. We're planning on making further changes along these line. Replay in this thread with any compliments, complaints or concerns about this new look.

I really appreciate the spaces between the links. It will take some time to adjust to the new arrangement of the crime scene. The only thing I would like to see revert back to the origanal set up would be the newsletter. The glaring white background hurts my eyes. Perhaps this is something I will adjust to in time as well. I just expect the black background that is the theme of this site and greatly notice the difference when it is missing. For now, I just move past it as quickly as possible. :-) Thank you again for such a great site!

I like almost all the recent changes - the spacing is great. I like seeing the City News 5 cents heading back, too.

Re: the crime scene: There's way too much text. I click twice to get the abbreviated version. I'd love it if it just got straight to the point the first time!

Once again change is good. We humans get used to one way and when we are faced with something different we tend to baulk. I like it. Thanks so much for taking such good care of the site. There is never a dull moment here

I can see that the spacing will help some folks - but I find I have to scroll down to see a lot of screens now. The way the crime scene is, for example, I have to scroll to see whether all the evidence is complete, and even with Ridic. Hard cases, when checking physical evidence, I have to scroll to see the full list of suspects. That may be because the picture of the barber shop or whatever is there now. But I'm ALMOST as JSTKDN (just kiddin' ;-) and liked it better when it fit on one screen.

I'm not sure I like the spacing. Sure, it'll grow on me eventually. But, I think the highlighting feature was enough. I don't like scrolling down either.

i third the scrolling part...it gets very annoying, cause you basically have to scroll at every screen, or maybe ben could put the pic and the text side by side, like in the crime scene..

Good idea anjg - plus I wouldn't mind links on the right side of the page!
