Well, thanks to my friend FolkTrash, the site has gotten a much needed facelift. We're planning on making further changes along these line. Replay in this thread with any compliments, complaints or concerns about this new look.

I have to admit that even though the new look is nice the writing has become a bit too small. After playing for a while I naoticed that it does hurt the eyes a bit. I still miss the icons and I like all the games descriptions not going over to the next line.

Dogberta, I invite you to join me as an official "champion of trivial causes!" :) I have been wanting to ask about centering the adjustment values under the category on the equipment list for the longest time! (I was too embarrassed!)

Like the two periods after "decided to answer more questions.." They really get to me, too. Ben, are these things too trivial to mention, so that they are merely annoying, or do you consider them to actually be helpful?

By the way, the new look is better on my home computer, so it must really vary from monitor to monitor, browser to browser and who knows what all other factors.

Something else I'd really like is to have to scroll down less often to click on things - like when interviewing a suspect, I'd like the options to ask another question or to leave to be at the top instead of under the text.

For those who the font is now too small: What kind of computers and browsers are you using? On the browsers I have looked at it in, the font is actually slightly larger now than it was before. Perhaps the style sheet isn't being properly loaded?

Ok here's my honest opinion. The highlighting is great love it. However the colors of the links leave a lot to be desired they look like i just threw up my lunch on them. Plus the link colors are harder on the eyes. I also miss the pics on the top of the page those were great. Just my 2 cents worth. i'd love to see the color of those links changed though. and the pics at the top of the page back.

Ok here is my honest opinion of the changes. The high lighting is great. The colors used for the links looks like I just threw up my lunch on the page. Not to mention the colors used make it harder on the eyes. Keep the highlighted links and please consider changing the colors. Also bring back the pics at the top of the page the little brief case and agency door and stuff. Just my 2 cents worth.

I am using PC, IE 6.0 and screen area 1024*768. Most pages appear normal but these few sections has very small font: City News (different font), City Hall - Message Boards , Individual's Agency Info (different font). note: There may be few areas in case solving too. I had no more cases, hope u guys can add those in that area.

Heh, yes, thanks to Floktrash.

That pretty much makes the background completely black for users on PC, but it should reduce the annoyance factor for Mac users. If the background is still too bright, I suggest trying to turn down your monitor's brightness.

It will take a bit of getting used to, but all in all, I think it looks great!
