Hi, thought I'd logon to check out my favorite online game. Wow, I love all the new changes. I hope everyone is doing great. A lot has happened since I played last. My Mother suffered a major heart attack, and had eight bypasses, plus her kidneys failed. We had to move her into a nursing home because she can't wait on herself. Then last week, our furry thirteen year old Yorkshire Terrier, was in the hospital for five days due to a heart condition, and renal failure. Thanks to medication, and prayer, our little boy is running around the house and acting like a brand new puppy. In fact, he's been barking his head off at me, because I'm on the computer...LOL. The reason he does was back when I played Sleuth for hours, one night I fell asleep during the game, and dropped the keyboard on him, which scared him and I to death. It didn't hurt him, but he hates it now when I get on the computer, and will bark until I get off.... I think I need to call the Dog Whisperer........LOL. Anyway, Texan and I are doing fine. Still singing and working. Hope to hear from ya'll. I'll check back later.

Hi there Mak........it's neat hearing from you. I was wondering if you're still around. I always enjoyed your messages. Hopefully, you'll be able to play again. I'm thinking about subscribing for a month, and see how it goes. Hope you're doing fine. Take care sweetie.

A big "HOWDY DO," to you Charlotte Montogomery. It sounds like you're a great detective to know. Thanks for the big "Welcome Back." I wish you the best.

Also, thank you all for your concern about my Mother. I'm hoping she'll be able to learn to walk again, and leave the nursing home. She'd love to be on her own. I miss not having her at home to visit her. OK, on a brighter note.......she is making great progress.....and I believe she'll walk out of that place in the near future; anyhow, I'm just tickled pink to hear from ya'll.

I know what your going through there DaRu. We had to put my grandmother into a nursing home as she cannot walk anymore and we just can't give her the care she needs. Unfortunately, she will not walk again and is gonna need to stay at the home permanently. It's tough, but through thoughts and prayers we are all getting by, it's a bit difficult, but we get by none the less.

Hi DaRu, I feel like I know you through the boards, even tho I started after you had left Sleuth "full-time" ( :D )

I had a similar situation with my mom, please feel free to PM me if you want to talk or pray about it :)

I'm so sorry about your grandmother ctown28. What is amazing to me about my grandmother is, she was 99 this September, and looks younger than my Mom. In fact, she gets around like she's 69, and the only health problem she's had was having a pace maker put in recent years. She's rarely been sick, never broke a bone, and if it wasn't for general aches & pain, she'd be running a marathon. Every year, including this one, she planted & maintained a garden, then supplied the entire family with veggies, and canned the rest. Grandmother has little grey hair, & not many wrinkles. I've wished I had most of her genes. I seek her advice about beauty tips, & she keeps me updated on home remedies, which I've learned some really work....LOL. I feel Grandmother will probably out live Mom. Each day she travels to the nursing home to see Mom, & is always bringing her home remedies...LOL. In fact, she played a big part in the recovery of Mom's kidneys, & the Lord.

Thanks Hawkeye Harris, for your concern & friendship. My heart goes out to you & your Mom. I pray for her healing. By the way, my last name is Harris too. Just wondering if you're from Texas? One never knows who they might be related to........LOL. Take care & God bless.

PS: Just wondering if JSTKDN is around? Since I haven't read all the message boards, I don't know. If you are, I'd love to hear from you pal. Hope all is well.

HI DaRu! I'm the annoying youth who doesn't act his age and has been on this site for way too long (by normal standards that is, not sleuth ones :) ). It's good to hear from someone who's from the original sleuth gang. Nice meeting you!

Hiya :)

Nikkie does pop in from time to time, and I have no doubt that she'll be happy you asked after her. She's doing really well; launched a globe-trotting business not too long ago, and working at it like a hungry little buck-toothed Marxist beaver.

Hi yoyofoshow, and I've always said, "I will never act my age." In fact, to think and act young, one will stay young, so as long as I'm happy, that is what that matters. Nice to meet you too.

LOL, I know that's the truth. Jstkdn has a great talent for creating stuff, and she goes ninety to nothing, (non-stop), until it's done to perfection. She's quite a gal and terrific person.
