So I paid this dude $500 to tell me where Big Lucy's Cabaret is.
How is this information useful, who/where is Sami and what can I do with it?

Use the clue to find the caberet, it's hidden. You can find it by right clicking your mouse off the map and choosing select all or dragging your mouse with the left button held down and seeing where the unlabled link is.
The caberet is well worth a visit at least once for the cheap... erm... well a spoiler but I'd go once!

By the way, Sami's is the name of the restaurant in New York. Presumably your 'hint' about where Big Lucy was located was somewhere around there?? Next time you go to find it, it will very prob'ly have changed to someplace different.
Big Lucy's does have its usefulness, and can be quite a bargain for certain items. Have fun! ;-)
