Hi everyone, I have made 2 false accusations. What will happen if I make a third? I won't lose all my skills will I?

PS - just read this in another thread -
watch out for false accusations. Three, and your sleuth is history! You can pay off the shady character in the bar for one or two falses (cheaper to wait until you have two), but if you get a third, whammo! That's it! So it's safer to quit a case you are unsure about, rather than guess.

Ahh... Now I know what happens when you get the call wrong. I shall try to avoid it.

Better not to guess at all, Shady's cost goes up as your experience goes up, some of the long timers have to pay half a million or more to clear their record. No penalty for quitting cases however.

This in mind, I just quit my first case :( Oh well, 15 correct on the bounce isn't a bad start, I guess...

You can contact the Admin and he will credit the remainder your subscription to your new detective.
Guessing is a bad thing, it is far better to drop a case than to guess.

Yes, far better and far FAR cheaper to quit than to guess. I finally had to ruin my record of 100 solved cases and no quits, Shady is just too expencive :-(
