I know that I've seen on a page here at Sleuth that listed how much room you get with each type of apartment; and then a lost of different types of equipment and file storage units, how much room they take up and how much they cost, but now I can't seem to find that page. I checked in the Real Estate office, but it just lists the different kinds of apartments and their prices. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Each room is 300 sq. ft. max. Individual furniture pieces vary in size, depending primarily on their function, but also on their size, style, and cost. They range from 0 sq. ft. for 'filler' decorations up to 300 sq. ft. Once you actually buy an apartment, you'll get specifications on furniture sizes and prices, as well as at the above sites.

The reason you can't find the list on the game site is that in order to see the furniture,you have to have an apartment.

When you enter a room you go to buy furniture, then you can see the list of equipment. But if you really want to see the goods before, try using the site LED refered to in the first reply.
