This was really cool when I did it on my chess forums. A Haiku is a Japanese (I think) poem, which goes by syllables. Example:
The first line has five
The second line has seven
The third line has five
It don't have to rhyme,
It just has to make some sense,
And go with topic.
It is challenging,
But it can be lot's of fun
Thinking of Haiku.
So have fun with Haiku,
Keep solving your mysteries,
Keep all posts Haiku!

Technically, Haiku is not supposed to rhyme. And, if you want to be REALLY technical (which we will for, oh, two seconds), they are seasonal poems (season-related, or mentioning a season).
Will we remember
Any of the stupid rules
Next week, anyway?

Really? I knew not.
Please write in Haiku people!
That's what this is for!
Thanks, though, Anikka!
That is extremely helpful.
But we won't do rules. :)

I need a short break,
from solving a mystery,
because I am stuck.

I am feeling down.
Can anyone help me out?
Don't say "play more sleuth".
