Just a place to talk about what's going on with you.

Me? Aw, you're sweet for asking. I played soccer today for the first time in a while, and it turns out that one of the guys I play with has a 22-month old son I hadn't heard about. And learned in the way only sore muscles can tell you that absence makes the thighs grow painful :P

In other news, our house is being repainted (a LOVELY shade of off-taupe), starting tomorrow, some random person left a bag of clothes in my backyard last week (minus the bag part) and I'm kinda hungry.

But enough about me. How are YOU today?

I wish this was one of those boards where you can 'exalt' people for making you laugh...

Apart from that I've got to say this day could be going better. My wireless network adaptor's never the most reliable thing on the planet cos it tends to get confused and try and connect to the next-door-neighbour's Sky signal, but today it kept going down for five or ten minutes at a time, then conked out altogether. So I then spend an oh-so-joyful hour troubleshooting (with difficulty since I couldn't access any online help), and ended up having to reinstall the darn thing.

And it's raining.

How's your day going?

I wish my day was going better.

I fractured my ankle Tuesday, which was extremely painful. And it's raining AND snowing.

So, I've spend the last four days on crutches unable to do anything and having to have people help me. And it's almost Halloween so I can't help my little siblings trick-or-treat. BUT.........I'm probably driving you all nuts by complaining.

So, How's your day?

Ouch! I remember when I broke my ankle - sympathy! But it's a great feeling when you can finally get rid of those crutches and stand on your own two feet again.

I'm not too bad, except that my feet hurt and I got asked to describe myself in three words earlier this afternoon. Meh.

How are you today?

Did you answer: Lost for words?

Too many deadlines and not enough squirrel. I know, I kinda sound like the editor of 'Roadkill Almanac 2008' :s

So instead of course, I'm here replying to PM's and editing an SM. Funnily enough yesterday's quote on my desk calendar, because of course I haven't flipped it over yet :s says 'If it wasn't for that last minute, I wouldn't get anything done'.

Why do you mock me world :p

Aww, thanks for asking! :P

I'm busy and tired, 17.3112 weeks of VH tourney doesn't help either... and I played dodgeball last nite (our team got thrashed, but on the upside I discovered that I'm quite good at dodging) so now I ache... and I'm hoping to script a radio play that does justice to the original story and writer.

Oh and i'm still on a high from my new iphone which is now 3 weeks old :D:D:D:D

How are you today?

I'm good thanks for asking. I'm still in soooo much pain with my joints and have had yet more tests done....bleugh. Still the doctor thinks I can ease the pain in the meantime with.......antidepressants. Yes I did a double take at that one too :) Still I have been told that a trial is being conducted to see if antidepressants work for certain types of pains. So now I'm part of a medical trial woohoo for me.....or not :) Reading the list of side effects makes me wonder if I should just stay in pain instead lol. She could have offered me cannabis instead, no pain and no side effects ;)

On the plus side it's my last shift at work today and two weeks till I move yay :D:D:D

*goes back to thinking baby crunchy names*
