Me? Aw, you're sweet for asking. I played soccer today for the first time in a while, and it turns out that one of the guys I play with has a 22-month old son I hadn't heard about. And learned in the way only sore muscles can tell you that absence makes the thighs grow painful :P

In other news, our house is being repainted (a LOVELY shade of off-taupe), starting tomorrow, some random person left a bag of clothes in my backyard last week (minus the bag part) and I'm kinda hungry.

But enough about me. How are YOU today?

Well lets see, last night my baseball team lost. I walked into work this morning and it was a complete madhouse and has been all day. I need to print 10 copies of a 254 training manula for a new hire class that I have to lead tomorrow and the printer broke down. But the day is over in 45 mins, so things are looking up.

What's goig on with you?

Well, last night my baseball team won! The day before that, my football team continued their undefeated asskicking streak!

Other than that, third week into the new job and its going great.

I got all pissed off today and it was my own fault. I left a big pot of chicken curry out on my counter for like 14 hours when I should have put it in the fridge, and after about 20 minutes of wrestling with the demon who WANTS me to spend the rest of my life on the toilet moaning and searching for a word that rhymes with 'Salmonella', I threw it out. This made me really made, because a) I'm a cheapass and b) that was like $16 worth of chicken that would TOTALLY have tasted like chicken.

I ate some ribs, cause pork is the other white meat, and I'm over it now.

Doing swell this fine morning....however...I checked my nose, and yup it is bruised and hurting from the kid that threw a wooden block at me yesterday at work! I'm rather cold, as I have the ceiling fan on, but I'm too lazy to get up and turn it off...lol.

How's the rest of the world doing?

Doing good over here. I woke up early for me (5:30 am) to take a friend in for surgery. It was a same day surgery, so we went out for lunch after it was over. I had a "Western Scramble" Breakfast at the restaurant. YUM! It had bacon, tomatoes, green onions, green and red peppers, cheese, and sour cream. Then I came home an slept for about 2-3 hours before doing some other stuff and then finally logging on here.

Einh, been a some-good, some bad, week so far. On the good side, my team's 2 for 3 on hunts this week. Been workin' incredibly hard on those, so it feels good to win them.

Also doin' fairly well on my diet. (I've had to go on a special diet for the last week to deal with ulcers. I basically get to drink tang and water and nothing else for two weeks to a month. Yummy :-/ ) Hopefully only a week more to go. Yay.

On the other hand, a good friend of my family passed away from cancer this week. He's been very sick for more than a year, and we'll miss him very much.

All in all, I've been better.

Anyway, how're you doing??

I'm pretty good have my high school math exam tomorrow (SIX MONTHS EARLY :D). I feel nervous but I am quite confident that I'll do well.

Still trying to figure out why my town did the official "Trick-or-Treat" event tonight, but it went well and I have NO candy left over!! YAY!

Also, both black cats are safely stowed away in the house. Yeah, there's at least one person in town that makes me feel the need to do that. But they're safe, so it's a good thing.

Hrm. Using the first chance I've had in over a week to actually sit and do what *I* want to. I'm feeling productive, awake, and happy.

Listening to some Marshall Tucker Band. Suddenly going back in time, in my mind, to Junior High. That's maybe not quite such a good thing. I know some of y'all can relate to that!

All in all, it's been a good day.
