Is there any advantage to having an apartment?

with you not being in an agency you could save cases and extra clothing but they are very expensive and at your experience I would suggest waiting

A small one, yes. You can store things in an apartment that noone else can access (both equipment and cases). You can also have your own private chat room, message board, or bookshelf if you want one. But apartments (and the furniture to decorate them with) are ultra-expensive, and I believe only subbed people can get them.

Basically, they're a thing to play around with after you've picked up all your skills and are an experienced and veteran player. They're an expensive hobby. ;-)

They are a total must as soon as you can afford one... 2 different opinions I know but I find it fantastic to save all you cases on a day when you can't realy play for a day when you can and to be able to keep a private stash of spare equipment.

They do cost a lot to set up but they are great.
