And same as the other post hard to say without knowing your other skills, research is very good though. Don't ignore you questioning skills, normaly a good idea to focus early on on tough or charm and get research then the Townie questioning skill up to advance and the suspect one to intermediate before getting the advanced smart skills.

We presume you already have your basic hair and thread analysis, yes? Cause if you don't, those two are paramount. Without those two, you can't see hairs and threads at any of your crime scenes. If you haven't gotten those already, focus on them. After that, my money'd be on research, if you're going for a smart skill. Research eliminates one suspect with a false alibi from your suspect list (basically, it lets you know this person has a false alibi, but will not match any P/E or W/E evidence).

Another skill you might want to consider is lock-picking (again, if you don't have it already). This is NOT to be confused with Pick-pocketing (a faction skill). Lock-picking allows you to open those closed doors you get in cases, and get the answer to one motive or alibi question for up to two suspects.

Hope that helps a bit! ;-)

As those two said above.

Try to get good interview skills. I did it with getting Charm Interview skills like Adv. Rule Bending and Adv. Sweet Talking, then I went on for Adv. Thread, Adv. Hair, Footprint Analysis, and then Research.

You tend to have heaps of skill points at the start, but later on they start trickling down so choose wisely.

If you need to contact someone, Beth, click on the person's picture. That will take you to their Detective page. Bout halfway down that page, you'll find a tab that says, "Send message to this person," or something to that effect. You can also do a search for somebody on the City Hall page through the tab there.

As for where they are in real life, can't tell you. Don't know, and wouldn't tell you if I did without his explicit permission. (It's a security thing, and we tend to take that seriously around here.)

Hope that helps a bit. ;-)
