My one suspect (who is innocent) clammed up when I asked him who he thought was the murderer, how do I get the evidence out of him??

You have to have more than one suspect, You should have more people to accuse or questions

If your suspect clammed, you have to quit that case. There are very few ways to get that answer. Being in an agency might help you, as more experienced detectives have some tricks up their sleeves. When you store a case in an agency file, sometimes when another agent takes it out, one or two of the suspects unclam for them. I am a big proponent of being in an agency! Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe! It is so worth it!

That said, to prevent this issue in the future, ask your suspects FIRST about anyone else with a motive. This is how you build your suspect list.

Sometimes the one suspect just won't talk.. I;ve had this happen only a couple times that they won't answer even one, you just have to quit..

It also may depend what level case you are playing. Even if YOU are smart and capable, your character may not be. And even if you have enough points to open a case, it can be hard to get people to talk to you if your experience points and available skills aren't high enough. As you are charming, you don't need to bother to acquire any of the tough skills, but you need to build up your Sweet Talking and Rule Bending to their highest levels, with Sweet Talking being the first priority, at least in my opinion.

I know that I was eager to earn skills and points when I first started playing and thought I should be able to play the hardest cases I could open, but it wasn't true for me. I did better staying at one level long enough that they seemed easy and I ran into few problems, rather than going up too soon and running into cases there was no way out of.
