... that is the question.

Ok - is it better to join an agency as a newbie, or create one.

And how do you create one? I haven't found any links on that bit.

And before anyone asks, yes i just subscribed today so supposedly i can now do both :-D

My recommendation would be to join one - especially at only 2 days old. You are currently wearing very little clothes. I would recommend saving your money and the rewards of your favors for gear and gain experience with the help of people who have already gone through that early stage. Agencies charge rent daily - you need to have enough cash to put in the safe to keep the roof over your head. It also can also be nice to fly solo for a while and check things out before you jump into agency life. But I would definitely not recommend that you start your own this early. There will be plenty of time for that! Hope this helps.

In order to keep an Agency afloat for any length of time (even the tiny ones), it takes at least $50,000 to get it off the ground. That covers daily rent, equipment for the locker, money for Agents' false accusations and traveling expenses, etc. Though it's possible for several detectives to go together and start an Agency from the ground up, it still involves a LOT of planning, organization, communication, and casework. Starting and running an Agency isn't something that can be done on the spur of the moment. It's generally a long-term, multi-dimensional responsibility, and shouldn't be undertaken lightly. ;-)
