Changing factions

Hi Ben, great game! But I'm wondering if it takes a little too long to change factions...

There are about 12 different 'twists' as far as I can work out, only one of which is the one that allows you to switch factions. You get one 'twist' per case, and when you DO get the one for changing faction points, only 1 in 3 of these would 'up' the faction that you want. But in order to get your faction points to move from -10 to 1, you need to complete 11 such cases.

So this would take ... (let's see) ... 12 x 3 x 11 = 396 cases to switch factions! Perhaps a bit too long to switch factions?

Timothy, if you subscribe and join an agency (and lots are seeking new members), you can trade cases with people. It helps a lot!

You will drop down automatically to 10. From then onwards you can fix it with playing cases anti-faction you want to leave. ANd then play your little jobs.

Then your math is completely off.

Hope this helps.

Maybe next time post this in the newbie thread, others with the same question, will likely go there to look for it.

I switched from being great on one faction, to being great on another, without swapping cases with anyone in my agency in a couple of weeks or so.

Yep, switching factions is much easier with helpful teammates who are willing to donate the proper cases.

Although I am considering offering an option, perhaps through the Shady Character, that would allow you to pay to get all of your faction levels reset to zero.

Well, that sounds tempting, but are you also then planning on adding more new elements of challenge to the game? Don't make everything too easy, or the fun will be lost!

Ben, here's an option I WOULD like, having to do with factions.

Label a case permanently with its impact on factions, if there is one! Even make this visible in the case files. I think this is important info that an agent /would/ note for the benefit of the other agents!
