The Science of Murder

Is this featured mystery badly mis-rated as being of intermediate difficulty? I attempted it because it was one of the easier one listed. I realize that the rating standard is different for the featured mysteries than for the random ones. My question is how this is rated in relation to the other featured mysteries.

I was able to determine who the murderer was after multiple false accusations. However, I have found no logical basis for accusing the murderer even after attempting the mystery several additional times. In my attempts I have encountered evidence and alibis which apparently can't be checked out, a twist which in some attempts does not appear, a suspect supplying their own motive (which does not register on the case file for that suspect), even a curly handed suspect. I believe I have uncovered all of the evidence, everyone has answered all of the questions supplied. If I missed something, it must have been because the sequence in which I did things blocks me from obtaining additional information. If that is the case, I haven't seen anything which would indicate that a particular sequence should be followed. Any hints, or should I just accept that featured mysteries are based more on guesswork than logic?

Ive found that doing that mystery...the clue I made between the murder was by re-reading the crime scene thorougly! :)

Sorry I can't say much more on here, as it might be considered a spoiler and get modded :)

Does anyone have anything to say about how this featured mystery stacks up against the others?

I still haven't solved this one to my satisfaction. I want to be able to logically determine that the murder could only have been commited by the actual murderer. Am I expecting too much out of a featured mystery?

Yeah, I think you're fighting a losing battle with that one Henry. I enjoyed it but I was like, well... ok... :)

Try the Unread Will one, it's good.
