So this is the 3rd case in a row where I've solved it and the murderer was mmy CLIENT (SO YAY-I DON'T GET PAID) and also the 3rd in a row where I GET NO SKILLS POINTS, not even one. I'm new to this so I'm sticking to the easy cases but COME ON! At this rate I'll never be able to buy the skills I need for harder cases, I won't go anywhere and I'll stop paying 7 dollars a month. This is rediculous.

As you go up in experience points, the amount of exp points necessary to get your next skill point goes up.

Try moving up a level of difficulty in case if you feel you can, or just tough it out.

Some people only get a skill point every 40,000 exp points.

NO need to panic about the 40,000, you only reach that stage a lot later in the game (it's taking me that long now).

You may want to talk to an experienced player about what skills you have Moody and plan things out, you may struggling due to your mix of skills.

You might also want to think about joining an Agency, since you're Subscribed. You can get help with cases if you run into problems, and can prob'ly get extra cases from your Agency teammates when you want them. Usually, they're also willing to help you out and use their contacts when you need it.

As Stooby and Mr. SleuthTips said, you WILL get cases that pay and more skill points, it'll just take a little time, that's all. The higher the difficulty you're willing to tackle, the quicker the points will come, and the larger the reward fees at the end of the cases will be. If you're willing to try them, you might surprise yourself! ;-)
