I noticed the presence of the detective "Big Lucy" (http://noir.playsleuth.com/detective/detective.spy?id=490123) in Sleuth world. I also noticed she's a bit of an anomaly, having "Cabaret Owner" as the background on her profile, something which the ordinary player cannot have.

What interests me most though are the two books she has in her possession: "Empty Enlightenment" & "Dick Tracy". I know the former can be found in the London library, but does "Dick Tracy" actually exist in Sleuth world outside of Big Lucy's library?

If anyone knows, please PM me.

You'd have to ask her :)

It may have just been a one time thing, I really don't know.

Unfortunately, her account status is inactive. She hasn't been on since mid-May.

From what I understand, Big Lucy is a character Ben made up during the Sleuth Prom. Giving her a special job description and special books is part of the fun of being an Admin and playing in the background of the game system. There was also a special purple corsage given to Sunny at that time.

Nice detective work Cow Ward for finding her though.

So, she was created for a one time purpose? Or is Sleuth Prom a recurring thing?

How can one visit her apartment?

Maybe next Prom. Last time round the apartment was just 'open', you could access it through New York's Apartment Block. You didn't need an invite. But it was only up for the day. I'm sure Ben and Sunny will re-open it form time to time. Surely Big Lucy will want to wet the baby's head when Sunny finally pops.

I have to ask:

"Surely Big Lucy will want to wet the baby's head when Sunny finally pops."

What does wet the baby's head mean? Is this some down under slang? and what does one wet it with? I know baby's wet, and if it is a boy they may have enough aim to wet their parents head/face when changing the diaper (nappy) but... and adult wetting a child's head? Please explain :D

I think this means having a drink to celebrate.

Here's what Blueberry Hill's old friend has to say about it:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=wet+the+baby's+head

To celebrate the birth of a baby with a drink of alcohol or more usually an excuse for a drinking spree.

Or

The process of celebrating the birth of a baby. Traditionally taking its name from the Christian baptismal rite, during which the head of a baby would be wet with blesed water, the phrase now commonly relates to the consumption of large amounts of alcohol as a celebration of the new arrival.

The actual process of wetting the baby's head is far more fun before the baby is born.

S'obviously an Australian thing. Really just an excuse to have a drink. Not that we need an excuse :)
