Does the thing (for the lack of not knowing what to call it) have an automatic questioning like whether or not the suspects know of anyone with a motive? I'm sort of trying to figure out if i have to add that into the questions or not.

Sorry lil', I'm not sure what the hell I'm saying ^!
I think basically from the SM's I've edited, I'd say everyone is setting 'motive discovery' for want of a better term, manually.
If there is the facility to do this automatically I haven't seen it used.
And I kind of prefer it that way. But that's jut my personal preference.
SM's should be fleshed out and questions and answers should be (well I think) a bit interesting than just ... 'Know anyone who had a motive'... 'Yep, Bob Smith forgot Joe Bloggs birthday'.
Doing it manually gives you a great opportunity to give your characters and your plot line some real depth.

SS is right, it's more of a SM when you add everything, even the alibi Q can be writen a different way.
