I am unsubscribed. I have noticed that there are only 3 spaces for accessories, 1 for hat/shoes/clothes.
What happens if we have a space filled up then receive another item for that space? I know if you are subscribed you can store items somehow, but what about unsubscribed?
For my favors so far I have received 3 switch blades and a turban. I sold 2 of the switch blades since I don't need them. What will happen if, say, I get another hat for a favor? Are we able to keep more than what our person can wear at once? I don't want to have to throw gear away!

Only subbed players can get an apartment. If you get equipment which goes in a space you have filled up then you just have to sell the new piece of equipment or sell an old piece.

Gracias for your help Piccolo!
Hmm apartments are VERY far out of my budget now but I guess maybe in the long, long term future...
What do you mean by you need to buy enough furniture to hold clothes/equipment? So if you buy an apartment you need to spend MORE money to be able to hold items? How expensive is furniture?

With the items, say I get a hat for my next favor. I already have one, so no room for another. Will I be given the choice which hat to have, or is the choice made for me? (if that makes sense :P)

Thanks for your subscription offer, I only just started playing so I'm not seriously considering that yet. But if in the future I do I will be sure to post so I can get the discount [and someone can gain a sidekick and free mysteries ;) ]

Yes Clara, you choose what item you want to keep.
If you're in an agency, there is also an option to store an item in the agency locker.
What you also could do, is subscribe for a month, buy a little agency and then keep your stuff in there.
As long as you keep paying rent, you keep the agency even if un subbed.
However, this may be subject to change at any time.
Also, I'm not quite sure just what an unsubbed person can do with an agency... I know you don't have acess to everything. Could someone fill me in?

Unsubs in an agency loose case file access. So it works to help keep gear like Clara wants, but will not be able to store extra cases.

I will add to LRC that you should sub for a month, just to try it out. The game really is sooo much better for subscribed players. I am sure there are lots of agencies that would take you in to help you get started.

Just wanted to add that selling off items isn't necessarily a bad thing - you can work towards getting an outfit that fits your abilities best, and it's an important way to get more money. Selling favour items always brings in more than solving ordinary cases.

Thankyou for the help everyone!
Oh ok that's alright then if you get to choose which item you want. I'm not really fussed about getting a massive wardrobe or anything, I would just hate to have to turn something down that suits my skills.
Yeah I do want to subscribe and have a try. The thing is I'm 15, so I would need to get my parents to pay. The moneys not a problem but I go to a very full-on school (like you wouldn't believe!) and have just found sleuth in the holidays. I really like it so I do want to keep playing.
My parents wouldn't be very happy if I told them I'm playing this game every day, even though it doesn't take me long to do the 4 cases. If I subscribed I'd spend even more time playing. And I know that sleuth is certainly better than a lot of other games out there - problem solving and all - but it still is a game.
Plus at the moment I am extra busy because I'm in a play and doing stuff after school almost every day and on weekends. So probably not the best time to ask!

Maybe not, but tell your parents this is one of the few online games that actually makes you think, sometimes that will work :)
